BLAKESLEE VINEYARD
In 2005, Bill and Sheila Blakeslee had an opportunity to purchase the highly regarded Quail Hill Vineyard. Now, known as The Blakeslee Vineyard, this site is located in the Chehalem Mountain AVA. The vines are planted in Laurelwood soil (a powdery volcanic soil) atop a hard clay sub-soil. This vineyard has been producing top quality Pinot Noir for more than 12 years.
Aromas of mango and orange-peel follow with a crisp, slightly sweet fruitiness in the mouth that entices hints of pear and green apple.
