Wahle Vineyards and Cellars
The Wahle Family was one of the first growers in Oregon. In 1974, they chose to plant their vineyard on a 100 acre hilltop in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Mark Wahle, second generation, earned a degree from UC Davis in Enology & Viticulture in 1988. He and his wife, Shaghayegh, planted a second prime vineyard site, Holmes Hill Vineyard in 1999. This 310 acre site is in the Eola Hills AVA and similarly enjoys a breathtaking hilltop view of the surrounding wine country.

|
| A blend of both family owned vineyards: The Wahle Vineyard, planted in 1974 in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, as well as the more recently planted Holmes Hill Vineyard in the Eola Hills AVA. Subtle cherry and blackberry aromas lead to a bursting palate of fresh cherries. It is a successful representation of the elegant features that both vineyard sites represent. More Details |
