Lindsay Woodard of Retour, to Receive "Rising Star Award"
at the 20th Anniversary for Women for WineSense "Grand Event"
Honorary Chairwoman, Margaret Duckhorn will induct founders Julie Johnson and Michaela Rodeno into the Hall of Fame. Ann Noble of UC Davis will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the wine industry and Lindsay Woodard will receive the Rising Star Award as an up-and-coming woman in the industry. Saturday’s program concludes with the Grand Tasting of distinctive wines poured by women in key leadership roles at wineries, including owners, CEOs, winemakers and vineyard managers. All eight vintners will be pouring their highly coveted wines under one eco-friendly roof. This is an exciting opportunity to meet the winemakers and get to know the stories behind each label. Enjoy tasting barrel samples, current and new releases from: Andrew Rich, Ayoub, Brittan, Hamacher, Lazy River, Montebruno, Retour and Wahle. More than thirty wines will be poured. Event Tasting Fee is $30 and includes a Riedel Pinot Noir glass that's yours to keep!
