Viva España: A Tour Through Spain’s Iconic Wine Regions

Viva España! Join our own Ian Holm-Hansen for an immersive wine experience through Spain. From the lush, green hills of Galicia to the sun-soaked vines of Priorat, this tasting offers a vibrant introduction to the country’s rich winemaking heritage.

You’ll sample six distinctive wines—four reds and two whites—each showcasing the unique character of its region: Rioja, Penedes, Rias Baixas, Bierzo, Priorat, and Calatayud. Along the way, learn about the cultural, historic, and geographic influences that shape these wines, with opportunities to compare and contrast their flavors.

The event features Spanish-themed music, detailed maps for visual context, and a curated selection of traditional charcuterie—think jamón, manchego, olives, and chorizo. Limited quantities of the wines will be available for purchase.
