The Carlton Winemakers Studio
Project M
PROJECT M IS THE VISION OF MEG AND JERRY MURRAY. WITH OVER 30 YEARS OF COLLECTIVE WINE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE, THIS COUPLE HAS COME TO CALL OREGON HOME FOR BOTH THEIR GROWING FAMILY AND FAMILY BUSINESS.
After a domino-style tour of harvests all over the world from New Zealand to Oregon to Germany, Jerry Murray settled in the Willamette Valley as winemaker and vineyard manager for Patton Valley Vineyards.
After honing his skills at Patton Valley, Jerry was recruited to Van Duzer Vineyards, taking it to the next level in winemaking, farming and culture.
In 2013, Jerry had another once in a lifetime opportunity which took him to California. Jerry was the founding winemaker of Domaine Anderson, owned by Champagne Louis Roederer. While there, Jerry worked with famed Burgundy winemaker Jeremy Seysses of Domaine Dujac to create expressive, individualistic Anderson Valley Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.
The Carlton Winemakers Studio is excited to provide a home for PROJECT M to create pure and precise Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Rosé and Riesling from distinctive sites in the Willamette Valley.
