The Carlton Winemakers Studio is home to over sixteen individual vintners that produce some of the region’s most coveted wines under one innovative roof. Located in the charming wine-village of Carlton, we invite you to visit our tasting room where you can taste our wines, and learn about the unique stories behind each label.

Reservations are not required for our regular wine tasting experience.

Bookable Seated Tasting Experiences

In addition to our normal wine tastings (no reservations required), we are pleased to offer tours and seated tastings.

Schedule in advance for this backstage pass to the Northwest’s first and foremost winery collective. Guests will be treated to a winery tour followed by a seated tasting amongst the barrels of “The Hamacher Cellar.” Choose the experience that best suits your interests or palate and availability in the Valley.

Let us customize your tasting experience to best match your groups tasting preferences and with the release of 125 different wines each year, the possibilities are endless! From ultra small batch white wines, to high end Chardonnays, bold reds, and single vineyard Pinot Noirs, the Studio team can’t wait to curate a personalized menu for your group. Off the Beaten Path 

$45 per person

Discover the unusual, rare, and small batch selection the Studio has to offer. Your menu could include any of the following, but is not limited to, Gamay Noir, Gruner Veltliner, white/red Rhone blends, Riesling, whole cluster Pinot Noir, and too many others to name. Let us dazzle your taste buds with speciality wines from our winemakers.

A Charcuterie and Cheese Vending Machine is available in the tasting room featuring a selection of food from either local producers or female owned enterprises.

Directions

From Portland (& North or East)

  1. From I-5 southbound, take exit number 289 toward TUALATIN/SHERWOOD. Head west on SW NYBERG RD.
  2. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto SW TUALATIN SHERWOOD RD. (4.52 miles)
  3. Turn LEFT onto SW PACIFIC HWY W/OR 99W S. (8.73 miles)
  4. Turn RIGHT onto N MAIN ST/OR-240. Continue to follow OR-240. (5.96 miles)
  5. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto NE KUEHNE RD. (1.85 miles)
  6. NE KUEHNE RD becomes NE HENDRICKS RD. (3.19 miles)
  7. NE HENDRICKS RD becomes E MAIN ST. (1.11 miles)
  8. Once on East Main Street in Carlton, go through the first blinking red light and make a right at the second onto North Yamhill (also Rt. 47).
  9. Travel 1/2 mile and make a left onto Lincoln Rd. (Cana’s Feast Winery is a good marker)
  10. Through the stop sign, down the hill and The Studio is on the right.

From Salem (& Southeast)

  1. From I-5 southbound, take exit number 289 toward TUALATIN/SHERWOOD. Head west on SW NYBERG RD.
  2. Head northwest on OR-221/SALEM DAYTON HWY for 20.57 miles.
  3. Merge onto DAYTON BYP/OR-18/OR-233 via the ramp on the left. (0.47 miles)
  4. Turn LEFT onto SE KREDER RD. (0.94 miles)
  5. Turn RIGHT. (0.02 miles)
  6. Turn LEFT onto OR 99W S/PACIFIC HWY W. (4.05 miles)
  7. Turn RIGHT onto OR-47 N/TUALATIN VALLEY HWY. (4.44 miles)
  8. Turn LEFT onto W MAIN ST.
  9. Once on East Main Street in Carlton, go through the first blinking red light and make a right at the second onto North Yamhill (also Rt. 47).
  10. Travel 1/2 mile and make a left onto Lincoln Rd. (Cana’s Feast Winery is a good marker)
  11. Through the stop sign, down the hill and The Studio is on the right.

From the Coast (& West)

  1. Head east on US-26 (toward PORTLAND) for 49.11 miles.
  2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto OR-47/NEHALEM HWY.
  3. Pass through the town of Yamhill and continue approximately three miles.
  4. Watch for signs for The Studio on the right.
  5. Make a right onto Lincoln Rd. (Cana’s Feast is a good marker)
  6. Through the stop sign, down the hill and The Studio is on the right.
